Inspired by Equality
Good design looks good on everyone; that's our motto. We were tired of companies creating fashion based on gender, so we devised a company to make dope jewels for you, the real individual you. No prescribed labels.
We want to band together to celebrate each other and create a better world. To us that means handmade pieces, using local suppliers and vendors, working with sustainable materials, and supporting causes that fight for equality and the environment.
The future is open. Lez go!
We use recycled sterling silver wherever possible, and are working with our suppliers to make the line out of 100% recycled metal by 2018. Let's be real, mining new metal out of the ground is not good for the planet.
Local Vendors and Suppliers
Open Label is committed to hand-making our pieces at our Oakland studio. All the materials come from suppliers on the west coast, both in Oakland and in New Mexico.
Many of our pieces are cast by an ancient process called Lost Wax casting. All this work is done locally in San Francisco.
We're just beginning so we're starting small–donating 1% of profits to causes for equality and the environment. Customers help us pick which organizations to give to at the end of the calendar year. Lookout for that email survey!
