About the Designer
Founder / Designer / Maker:
Tricia began her career in the fine arts world at the Art Institute of Chicago, working on the museum’s marketing team and hosting late-night parties in the Modern Wing.
Eager to emulate the working artists she admired through her museum work, she took a metalsmithing class at a local Chicago studio and promptly fell in love the with the ancient Lost Wax casting process.
In 2015 she left the museum to attend an intensive metalsmithing program in San Francisco, and later settled in Oakland, CA. The rich diversity of the California arts scene, her obsessive love for music and arts culture, and a serious addiction to playing with wax all came together to inspire her inaugural collection for Open Label. The line aims to transcend the traditional "rules" of the jewelry world and offer pieces that can be worn by everyone.
